The Avenue

I have been a designer for the Avenue, the fashion, culture and creative magazine, for about a year now. During my time on the team, I am tasked with working with other designers, writers and photographers to curate spreads that fit the specific theme of the issue that season.

The Fall 2021 issue of the Avenue was themed Velocity, it is all about movement, exploration and pushing the boundaries. I was tasked with designing two articles for Velocity and I explored playing with type, imagery and color.

The Spring 2022 issue of the Avenue is labeled Structure. Structure is used here in a way of building a relationship between things and making connections. With this issue, I continued to explore playing with imagery and type but specifically focused on how they interact with each other. Below you will see two articles from Velocity and two articles from Structure.
